2OO8/2OO9 Season
ProKART is hosting our fifth season of Mini Bike / Pit Bike racing this year. Come down and witness some of the most competitive racing we have ever seen. Whether you are a novice rider, or a skilled expert, there will be plenty of competition for you.
We will begin the year with the same two classes we have had since the beginning, but will now call them 10 inch class and Open class. Any bike will be allowed in the open class. In order to participate in the 10 inch class, neither of the wheels on the bike may be larger than 10 inches.
The 2008 Season will consist of 15 weeks of racing. Registration and pits will open at 7:00 PM, and we will begin warm ups at 7:30 PM. Points will be awarded each night to determine an overall season winner. Only your best 10 nights will count towards your overall points.
New this year, riders will be given a transponder when they sign in at the beginning of the night. These transponders will be free of charge, but you will have to give us a credit card to hold while you are using it. The riders will be responsible for affixing the transponder to their bike, as well as returning it to us in useable condition. It may be placed anywhere behind the rider, and can be no more than 12 inches from the ground. We are more than happy to help you determine the best way to mount it.

Practice Nights $25.00
Cost: Race Nights (1 class) $28.00
Race Nights (2 classes) $40.00
Nightly winners will earn $1.50 off the next weeks entry fees for each rider in the class the night they won. For example, if you win, and there were 16 bikes in the class, you will get $24.00 off next week’s entry fee. Must be used the following week.
Each rider will be allowed one person in the pits with them FREE of charge. They will be required to fill out a waiver and wear a wristband.
IMPORTANT! Please read:
§ Bikes must be brought in the rear of the building
§ All fuel must be kept outside of the building, and no bikes may be fueled inside the building.
§ We must keep a fire lane open in the back lot. Please either park against the curb, or against the building. Not in the middle.
§ Racers and spectators are not allowed in the shop without a ProKART staff member
§ A participant who’s transponders lost, or damaged beyond repair will be charged $240.00. This is our cost on replacement transponders.
§ Absolutely no bikes may run outside the building. We do have neighbors.
